The treatment and valorization of wastes such as dredged harbor sediments oyster shells have become critical for environmental management. In order to promote waste resource sustainability, this study evaluated the feasibility using lightweight aggregate (LWA) production. effects shell content sintering temperature on sediment-based LWA properties, including particle density (PD), water absorption (WA), crushing strength (CS), were investigated. engineering applicability LWAs was also assessed. results showed that it feasible use admixed with produce suitable applications. properties highly varied according content.
